At our AGM on Saturday, 15 February members present voted in their Committee which remains unchanged with the exception of our Social Secretary. Laura Dixon Edmunds, to whom we are all enormously grateful, has decided to step down from the committee. Laura goes with our thanks and best wishes on her next 'adventure'. New Date Sunday 12 April 2020 at Wellington Riding Centre. Despite the best efforts of Storm Ciara, Dennis our home venue, Wellington Riding Centre, have managed to find us a slot to run the Rescheduled Combined Training Qualifier which we had to cancel on the 9 February due to Storm Ciara. At last year’s AGM, our lovely members were asked to nominate their 2019 Charity. At this year’s AGM, Mary Cripps, our fantastic Chair, presented a cheque to Graham Thomas from the Hampshire & IOW Air Ambulance in the sum of £890. We will announce this year’s charity as soon as last night’s votes are counted. This donation was made possible through our bi-annual Tack Sales. Due to the Amber Weather Warning issued for Sunday 9th February across London & South East England, Areas 6 Representatives & Wellington Riding Club have made the decision to cancel tomorrow's Combined Training. Storm Ciara must be taken seriously and we wish her a speedy onward journey!! The Committee of Wellington Riding Club will be working hard, behind the scenes, to find an alternative date.
