Wellington Riding Club Spring Tack Sale

17th April 2026 - @ Wellington Riding

BRC pre-entry changes

Up until now, BRC has charged a pre-entry fee of between £12.50 and £16.50 per class. Pre-entries generate income for BRC which has previously covered the costs of scoring materials and rosettes for qualifiers, official steward training, hat tags, various other training and championships. This has always been paid for you by WRC so you have only been asked to pay the organising show's entry fee.

Under the NEW SYSTEM, BRC has introduced a competition pass which will be valid for a year and will cover all the pre-entry costs for a named rider. This will cost £30 if you compete on 1 or 2 horses, if you have 3 or more it will be £45.

This year, with effect from October 1st and therefore applicable for the dressage qualifier later this month,  WRC will pay for competition passes for members.

Passes will be purchased by the team manager on your behalf, but you will need to provide the names of horses on which you want to compete with the option of changing this if you get a different horse, or upgraded if you compete on more than 2 horses.

In accordance with the following rule, the pass will also allow you to compete for other riding clubs but if you are planning on doing this. we would ask that the cost of a pass is shared with both clubs.
