Club & BRC Policies & Statements
In order to take teams to competitions we are required by BRC to provide helpers at each event. To ensure we can meet these commitments, as well as running shows ourselves, we ask each club member to volunteer a minimum of half a day at one event in the year. By joining, you are committing to doing your helping duties for the club.
WRC Respect and Conduct Statement
Our committee and team managers are all dedicated volunteers who generously give up their time and energy to support the club and its members. We’re incredibly grateful for the work they do to keep everything running smoothly, often behind the scenes, and late into their evenings.
In return, we expect all members to treat our team—and one another—with courtesy and respect.
We will not tolerate any form of rudeness, disrespect, or inappropriate behaviour towards our hardworking volunteers or fellow members. We have a zero tolerance approach to any inappropriate behaviour towards individuals or to the reputation of WRC.
All members are reminded to read the eligibility criteria and competition rules carefully and ensure they meet the requirements before entering. It is the responsibility of each individual to check that the competition is suitable for them.
Let’s work together to uphold the spirit of good sportsmanship and create a supportive, inclusive environment for everyone in the club.
